Supporting self-understanding and growth is at the heart of my work
Understand your own patterns
There's nothing more rewarding than watching my clients grow as they become curious about themselves and the people around them. I love seeing the moment when someone starts to understand their own patterns, when the pieces begin to fit together, and when they realize they have more power to create change than they thought.
Working with complex mental health conditions means I get to help people who often feel misunderstood or overlooked by other providers.
Many of my clients have been told their problems are "too complicated" or have bounced between therapists without finding someone who truly gets the full picture. I find deep purpose in being the person who can hold space for all of that complexity.
My story
I Bring Over 25 Years of Experience and Genuine Curiosity to Every Session
I have a unique ability to...
Clients often tell me I'm easy to talk to and that they feel truly understood
I take the time to see them as a whole person, not just a collection of symptoms. My genuine curiosity about who you are creates an environment where you can share parts of yourself you might have kept hidden, even from yourself or others.
The professional stuff
My Professional Background
I received my BA from Purdue University in Dual degrees-Psychology and Law & Society with Minor in Art and Design. I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology and have been a licensed psychologist in California for over 20 years. My extensive experience includes both clinical and leadership roles at a large healthcare organization in multiple intensive service departments, and I currently serve as Clinical Director at a private mental health intensive services clinic in Los Angeles.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked across a range of clinical settings, including inpatient and outpatient programs, partial hospitalization, crisis services, and intensive treatment environments. I specialize in supporting individuals with complex mental health concerns such as trauma, personality disorders, mood and thought disorders, neurodiversity, substance use challenges, and more. My advanced training includes Psychodynamic Therapy, CBT, DBT, MBT, and Schema Therapy, all applied through a trauma-informed lens. I take an integrative, patient-centered approach tailored to each person’s unique history, strengths, and goals.
